Configure Actiontec DSL Modem (Qwest Firmware) This is the configuration guide for most Actiontec DSL modems using the Qwest firmware. If you have USFamily.Net DSL service outside of Minnesota, or have a username starting with DSL-W, please go here to configure your modem. If you need help configuring your DSL modem to connect to the Internet, please contact us. 1) Access the Actiontec gateway's web interface by entering the IP address 192.168.0.1 in the address bar of a web browser. This will bring you to the General Status page. If you have a screen showing the Actiontec logo, please go here to setup your modem.2) Click on Quick Setup along the top row of tabs. 
3) Click Next. 
4) The next screen asks if you are an MSN user. Select no and click next. 
5) Select RFC1483 via DHCP from the list below the first set of options. 
6) Scroll down to the bottom and click the Apply button and you are finished.
