Support > Updating DNS information - Advanced Use Only

  • Go to the Start Menu
  • Select Settings
  • Select Control Panel
  • Double Click on Network
  • Select the TCP/IP -> Ethernet Adapter from the list of installed components
  • Click on Properties
  • Click on the tab labeled DNS Configuration
  • Select the listed DNS address(es) one by one and remove them
  • Click on the DNS Server Search Order field and enter: 64.131.63.8, then
  • click on Add
  • Click on the DNS Server Search Order field and enter: 64.131.63.159, then
  • click on Add
  • Click on OK to close TCP/IP Properties
  • Click on OK to close the Network window
  • Insert the Windows installation CD when prompted; If you do not have the windows installation CD (or cannot find it), some hardware vendors installed the needed files one of the following folders "C:windowsinf", "C:windowsoptionscabs" or "C:winntinf"
