What is DSL?

DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is the affordable high-speed Internet access option available to USFamily.Net customers with qualifed Qwest phone lines.

Unlike dial-up service, DSL is a dedicated high-speed connection. Your computer can be connected to the Internet 24 hours a day if you wish. With DSL service there is no waiting to get on the Internet, access is instant!

DSL is up to 25 times faster than a typical dialup connection.  The speed of your DSL line will be between 256k and 1500k, depending on which service option you choose.

DSL has two components: the high speed DSL line from Qwest and the Internet service from USFamily.Net. Each is billed separately.

While available to most Qwest customers, not everyone can get DSL. Your phone line must meet certain requirements for distance and quality. Click here to check pricing and availability.

If you are a MN resident, you can bundle and save money on your phone and DSL services all under one bill from our sister company, Velocity Telephone. Click here for more details.
